Product Rave #1

I have chosen two MAC products that I got recently and I absolutely love them!
I wear them daily and they are absolutely beautiful!

So first product I chose was Blackberry Eyeshadow a beautiful matte plum shade with a grayish undertone, it looks a bit ashy. It is smooth and pigmented although the swatch suggests otherwise but on the brush it is perfect. I have only tried this shade in the crease and not the lid but I will update this if I do try it out on the lid but as it is a plum it can make the eyes look bruised if used too much but this shade is perfect for deepening the crease and it's just beautiful! I really love it. It is just the perfect addition to an eye look!

The second product is Rosemary and Thyme Eye Kohl. I absolutely love this, it is a beautiful olive shade with gold glitter, it is gorgeous! It is perfect for lining the bottom lash line and I love to use it in the inner corner. It is such a wearable colour and it goes with golds and browns and purples so well witch is the shades I wear the most. It is a perfect everyday pencil and I really recommend it!!

Top: Rosemary and Thyme Eye Kohl.
Bottom: Blackberry Eyeshadow.

Review: Sleek's Monaco Palette from the Mediterranean Collection

I had seen this on a few blogs and I didn't really think too much of it, they were fun colours but I didn't really take any notice until I went into Superdrug and saw it in person. There are mostly matte shades, 8 to be exact and then there is one satin shade and there are three super matalic shimmery shades. I really like the colours they are very pigmented and they are shades that don't normally appear in your average makeup palette.

I love the three aqua colours they go from a very pale pretty, almost mint green aqua called Summer Breeze to a deeper matte turquoise in Aquamarine and then to a gorgeous shimmery blue aqua with a tonne and I mean a tonne of gold glitter called Humming Bird, it's a beautiful shade!

It has some really fun colours like the Magenta Madness witch is a shocking pink, it's got a nice light purple which is Lotus Flower, Washed Ashore witch is a really pretty pale orange colour and Kiwi Zest is a great bright lime green with shimmer.

Not only does it have the brights but it has really wearable shades as well that you can incorporate them with any look! Bamboo and Sand Walker are perfect for highlight colours and blending colours, Midnight Garden is a gorgeous matte navy and it's perfect as a crease colour and Moors Treasure is a beautiful wine colour and Sunset which is a beautiful copper colour.

(L-R): Bamboo, Aquamarine, Midnight Garden, Sunset, Washed Ashore, Magenta Madness
Summer Breeze, Sand Walker, Kiwi Zest, Lotus Flower. Humming Bird, Moors Treasure.

They are really fun, bright but wearable colours, they are really nicely pigmented and so easy to blend. I couldn't recommend this more! If you can find it get it!

Tutorials for this look can be found on my youtube channel!

I hope you enjoyed!! :)

Review: YSL Golden Gloss

So I am very fortunate to be able to splurge on products at certain times of the year ie. my birthday and christmas. I usually get these expensive products in duty free.

So I decided to get to get a YSL Golden Gloss in number 19 Golden Petal
It's a beautiful rosy pink shade with quite big gold glitter which looks great on the lips.

It's got a brush tip applicator which actually, for me, picks up too much product.
The smell is a really nice watermelon fresh scent. It is not sticky at all and wears a good time.
I really like these products they are a tick gloss but it really doesn't feel like it on the lips. It's a very pigmented gloss as well.

It is such a shame that this product €28 it is so expensive. As I have just found out there is a bit of 24 carat gold in the gloss so that is probably why it is so expensive.

This product is great and I would buy more but the price is just too much that I can't justify buying another.
If you want to splurge then I would recommend this but if you want a nice gloss there are great drugstore brands like Revlon and Barry M to choose from.

This is paired with Maybellines Ambre Rose and it just looks gorgeous!

I hope you enjoyed this post. Thanks so much.

Review: Topshop Lip Polish Trio

I saw that Topshop makeup was having a sale on their makeup so I was straight over!
The things on sale were actually quite good but a lot of them were open which was the annoying thing as I couldn't really judge if they were sanitary.

I got the stack of three lip polishes which retail 21 but I got them for €7! Such a good bargain!

The three colours are Chiffon, Cherry Picker and Cracker. They are a brilliantly pigmented balm, they feel great on, non sticky and light. They are so easy to apply, I applied all three with my fingers but with the red and the berry shade if you were going out to a party or dinner you may want to apply with a brush so you don't end up like a clown :P
I would really recommend these polishes, they come in great shades and feel great on and look great on. I really want to go and get more.

First lets start with Chiffon:

It's a really pretty pink shade with gold sparkle, probably my favourite, it's so easy to wear and looks great.

Cherry Picker:

It's a lovely black cherry juice colour, I love it, it's really beautiful. I this would be my second favourite. Would love to wear this on a night out it's very classic.

Cracker:

A basic, classic red shade, it's lovely.

The three shades Chiffon, Cherry Picker and Cracker.

I love these! I want more!

I really hope you enjoyed this post. Thanks so much for reading!

NO! :( Nars Cyprus

Nars's Cyprus is probably the most beautiful soft gold eyeshadow but I have had a little accident with it and as it is so soft it broke at the corners :(

I have a mission to use it all because I can't take throwing away this amazing eyeshadow that, lets face it, cost me an arm! So this will be my main lid colour for the foreseeable future.

I really love this eyeshadow! But it's so soft and pigmented that it will break if you drop it.
So be warned Nars owners! :)

Hope this is helpful!

Review: Topshop Gloss

As there was a sale on Topshop makeup I decided to check out what they had and I saw this amazing deep purple gloss. I just thought it was amazing looking. I don't know the original retail price but I picked this up for 4! Serious bargain as the MAC lip glosses are €17.

It's a beautiful vampy purple with blue, gold, purple and some orange and silver glitter. It's not too pigmented on the lips but it gives a dark plum colour. It has a high gloss gloss but the glitter doesn't really show up witch is a pity. The gloss is tacky it's not sticky, you can feel it on your lips but when you smack your lips together it doesn't feel gloopy, it feels smooth and secure, like it would last on the lips.

The colour is in Gloom. The one thing that really annoys me about this product is that it's difficult to get product out, the stopper in the gloss scrapes back quite a bit of product but I'm sure you can take the stopper out and fish out all the gloss you need.

I love this paired with my Collection 2000 lipstick in Mudslide. Looks amazingly dramatic and glossy. They work so well together. I really like this lipgloss, it's not the norm but it's pretty and its unusual.
I'd go in and see if there are any left it's well worth the bargain!

Hope you enjoyed this post! Thanks

Dramatic Silver Blue Eye with Illamasqua Products.

There will be a tutorial in the near future, I will post it on my blog when it's up :)

I used the new pigment I purchased called Android it's a beautiful shimmery blue with a tonne of silver sparkle! When foiled (when water is added to the brush and dipped into the product) it comes out the most beautiful metallic silvery blue. Will be reviewing my Illamasqua pigments soon so stay tuned!

In the crease I used Illamasqua's Never eyeshadow and it's a beautiful bright navy blue.
It works really well in the crease as when you start to blend and work it into the crease it darkens and becomes very smokey. I really love this colour.

To accompany this look, I just contoured with a darker bronzer and added a nude lip.

I really hoped you like the look!
