New Purchases.

So since Illamasqua's amnesty programme was amazing I had to go get some products!

So I got Lucid lipgloss, it's a very yellow nude but on the lips it's a very light pink.
I think if you had the opacity of the gloss it would look very strange so I recommend it thin.

I got Phenomenon liquid metal which I LOVE! it is such a good lip extra. I will definitely do some looks with it!. Also if you mix this with Solstice you get surge liquid metal. I love liquid metals!! It is a grey gel type substance with lots of silver glitter and I love it!

I got two medium pencils and they are fantastic!! As you can use them on eyes and lips they are such a good multi purpose pencil I really recommend Hex because it's a great neutral waterline pencil to open up the eye. And Spell looks amazing on both waterlines and lips. I need more of these! I think I need a purple and a blue maybe.

I got the blusher brush 1 and I really like it it is synthetic and it is so soft, it blends extremely well, it also looks great. I really want to try more brushes from them!

Last thing I got was from MAC and my sister was looking at the new collection and tried of the coral pink one and to make her feel easier I tried on this one and I really love it! It leaves my very pigmented lips a rosey hue which just looks very natural and over a nude lipstick it looks great! And the coolest thing is it BULE!! SO fun I love it!

Hope you enjoyed :)

NARS Review

So I recently bought some NARS products and I love them and thought I should share my opinion. Video review coming soon.

I got two duos and I love them! I think I will be getting more because they have great colours, fabulous pigmentation and really easy to work with. Cordura is my favourite because you can achieve the easiest smokey eye ever and it looks so good! Kalahari are great lid colours and paired with Cordura they look great! I really like they have different textures as Kalahari had a more veluxe feel to them while Cordura has a satin feel to it. They are so easy to use.

I got two singles Cyprus which is a light gold and Nepal which is a peachy pink. Both stunning colours and great to pair with anything! Cyprus has immense pigmentation! Nepal had a good amount of pigmentation but isn't as strong as Cyprus. I would recommend them both though. So easy to use and blend, just gorgeous colours. I can definitely see me getting more :/ which wont help my bank account!!

As you can see from the swatches they are hugely pigmented and gorgeous!!

Nars has one con to their products which is the hefty price tag but if you think if it, amazing pigmentation and lots of product it probably works out the same.

I hope this was helpful. Thanks so much for reading.

Essie Review and Swatches

So I bought these off amazon for about €20 I was really intrigued to know how Essie worked and these mini sizes seemed great to try.

The names are: Knockout Pout, Haute as Hello, Pretty Edgy, Demure Vixen.
In general these polishes work with very thin but many layers, they are very watery they aren't easy to work with at all but the colours are gorgeous! I don't think I would buy from Essie because Barry M, Gosh and cheeper brands are better in many other areas like price and workability. You need a lot of patience.

Knockout Pout: Really quite tricky to work with, a neon bright pink cream finish and it almost dries to a matte finish. I like it but it's a colour I wouldn't reach for frequently.

Haute as Hello: Also quite hard to work with it's streaky and patchy but it's a gorgeous colour a really nice peach also a cream finish but again dries to a matte finish.

Pretty Edgy: A really gorgeous deep green this is easier to work with it's not patchy and it's even it's a cream with a glossy finish. I really like this colour and I would reach for it again.

Demure Vixen: A sheer purple brown with purple glitter. It's gorgeous it's quite a nice colour just to throw on, it's not that noticeable but the colour and shimmer is so unusual it's lovely!

So would I recommend Essie?

Well not really they are really difficult to work with, Expensive and Watery

but if you like the colours and have a steady hand and patience go for it!

I hope you enjoyed!
